Search Tips

Find below some hints and tips on how to use the search mechanism on this site.  Hopefully this will help you find what you are looking for a little faster.

Select a Category

Have a look at the categories in the top pull-down menu to the left of the screen.  If you see something relevant to what you are looking for select it.  The two pulldown menus below the main one help you refine your results further should you identify a more specific requirement.

Keywords

If you have a particular item/place in mind, try typing into the keywords field and see what you can find.  We recommend you keep the search simple to return as many results as possible.  So try individual words before trying phrases.  Punctuation is not required, so simply space seperated words will be suffice.

Advanced Search

Clicking the advanced search button takes you to the advanced search page.  Here you can use the standard categories/keywords combination, but also filter images based on your selections made below.  Simply tick the boxes to refine your search.
